A Rebellious Nature (referred to as “ARN” throughout these terms)
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – CONSUMER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms apply to consumers purchasing for personal use. Business customers should use our separate B2B terms available during checkout.
1. CONDITIONS OF USE
1.1 Use of the Services and Website
The website www.arebelliousnature.com (the “Website”) and the goods and services on it are offered to you for personal, household, and reasonable business use.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws in connection with your use of the Website and any goods (“Goods”) or services (“Services”) obtained via the Website. The Goods and Services are together referred to as the “Products”.
By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.
1.2 Restrictions on Use
As a condition of your use of this Website and Services, you agree that you will not:
(a) reverse engineer or decompile any software available through the Website (save to the extent expressly permitted by law);
(b) remove, change or obscure any product identification or notices of proprietary rights on the Products and/or Website;
(c) remove any copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property right notices contained in material on the Website or Products;
(d) copy, modify, reproduce, republish, post, transmit, distribute or commercially exploit the Website content or materials without our written permission. Normal web linking to our homepage is permitted.
1.3 Unlawful or Improper Use
You must not use the Website or Products for any unlawful purposes. In particular, you must not:
(a) publish, post, upload, distribute or transmit information or pictures that are obscene, threatening, racist, offensive, defamatory, or are in ARN’s reasonable opinion otherwise unlawful;
(b) upload files that contain software or other materials that breach intellectual property rights;
(c) download any materials you know cannot be legally copied or used;
(d) harass, stalk, threaten or infringe the rights of others;
(e) hack into any website, deliver viruses or engage in behaviour likely to damage the Website or ARN’s reputation;
(f) use the Website for unauthorised commercial advertising.
1.4 Monitoring and Disclosure
ARN may monitor use of the Website at its discretion. ARN reserves the right to disclose information if required by law and to remove or edit content to prevent breach of these terms.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
This Website and ARN’s original content, trade marks, designs, and proprietary materials are owned by ARN and/or its licensors. You are granted a limited licence to use the Website for purchasing Products only.
This clause does not apply to content you submit to us, which is covered separately in Clause 8.
3. OPERATION OF THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES
ARN may change the Website content and suspend operations for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of planned changes that materially affect your consumer rights, except for emergency maintenance.
You are responsible for your internet connection costs and ensuring your web browser is suitable for using the Website.
You must follow all reasonable instructions from ARN regarding Website use. ARN does not accept responsibility for information security during transmission or for communications between users.
4. LIABILITY AND WARRANTIES
4.1 Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If Products are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have legal rights including repair, replacement, or refund.
4.2 ARN’s Liability
ARN does not exclude liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
4.3 Limitations for Non-Consumer Claims
For business use of our Website or Products, ARN’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Products, except for the mandatory liabilities listed above.
4.4 Website and Product Information
ARN provides the Website and Products “as is” but your statutory consumer rights apply to all purchases. We do not guarantee the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Any links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. ARN does not endorse or accept responsibility for third-party content.
5. BUYING PRODUCTS
5.1 Who You’re Buying From
You may purchase Products directly from ARN via this Website. All purchases are subject to these consumer terms unless you select our business terms during checkout.
5.2 Prices
Product prices are clearly displayed and include VAT where applicable. Prices do not include delivery charges (shown separately) or any applicable customs duties for international orders.
If we discover a pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you with the correct price or cancel your order with a full refund. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.
5.3 How Contracts Are Formed
Product displays constitute invitations to treat. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept your order upon sending you confirmation. If you don’t receive confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us as no contract exists.
5.4 Price Changes
Prices may change before we accept your order. Once we confirm your order, the price is fixed.
5.5 Payment
Payment is by credit card, debit card, or PayPal. All card transactions are encrypted for security. ARN does not see your card details. PayPal payments are governed by PayPal’s terms.
5.6 Delivery
Products are delivered by post depending on the size and nature of the items.
You must provide correct delivery details, including billing address, contact numbers, email address, and delivery address. We will deliver to the address you provide. Please check all details carefully during checkout and in your confirmation email.
Standard delivery is within 30 days of order confirmation.
If delivery details are incorrect, email us immediately. We cannot guarantee changes will be processed before dispatch.
5.7 Your Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your Products under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To cancel, email us or use our online cancellation form. You must return the Products at your own expense within 14 days of cancellation in their original condition.
Exceptions: Custom-made items designed to your specifications cannot be cancelled once production begins. We will clearly identify custom items before you order.
Refunds: Full refunds (including original delivery cost) will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned items.
6. RETURNS AND FAULTY PRODUCTS
6.1 Your Statutory Rights
If Products are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including:
Immediate refund (within 30 days)
Repair or replacement
Partial refund for reduced value
6.2 Non-Faulty Returns
For non-faulty returns, we accept items within 30 days of delivery that are:
Unworn and unwashed
In original packaging
Without odours, marks, or stains
Please contact us immediately upon receipt if you need to return items. Do not use scissors to open packages – you can tear them open safely.
You must return items at your own expense and take adequate postal insurance. Handle items with care during trying on.
Your statutory rights are not affected by this returns policy.
7. USER CONTRIBUTIONS
7.1 Licence to Use Your Content
By sharing any content (text, photographs, graphics, video, audio) with ARN, you grant us free, non-exclusive permission to use the material in any way for ARN services in any media worldwide, including modifying it for operational reasons.
7.2 You Keep Copyright
You retain copyright to everything you contribute. If we use your content, we will credit your name or username where possible.
This permission is non-exclusive, so you can continue using your content and allow others to use it.
7.3 Your Warranties
By contributing content, you confirm that:
The content is your original work
It is not defamatory and does not breach UK laws
You have the right to grant this permission
You have consent from anyone identifiable in the content (or parent/guardian consent if they are under 16)
7.4 Safety and Legal Compliance
Do not endanger yourself or others, take unnecessary risks, or break laws when creating content for ARN.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not submit content to us.

9. GENERAL TERMS
9.1 Governing Law
These terms are governed by Scots law. Scottish courts have jurisdiction over disputes, though this does not affect your rights in your country of residence as a consumer.
9.2 Changes to Terms
ARN may update these terms. Material changes affecting your consumer rights will be notified 30 days in advance via email and website notice.
9.3 Assignment and Subcontracting
ARN may assign these terms or subcontract obligations without notice. You cannot assign your rights under these terms.
9.4 Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, other provisions remain valid.
9.5 Entire Agreement
These terms (as updated) form the complete agreement and supersede previous agreements.
10. PRIVACY POLICY
ARN will not send promotional emails without your consent. We never share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Existing customers will continue receiving updates unless you opt out. New customers can choose during checkout whether to receive future offers and updates.
